Temperatures in Kansas last night were 5 to 10 and held there til around nine a. m. Radio morning news brought word of the death of Charles Isaacson of Courtland, a former resident of Lovewell for years, where he ran a very suc- cessful garage and filling station business. He was an industrious and quiet man, who was very conscientious in his dealings with everyone and had the res- pect and friendship of everyone, both here and at Courtland. He has been ill for the past several years and knew what suffering was, and bore it all with quiet patience. The funeral is to be held this Tuesday p. m. at the Methodist Church at two o'clock, in Courtland. Mrs. Delia Heldt was a Sunday afternoon visitor of Mrs. Alta Lovewell. Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Warren at- tended the funeral of Mr. Ed Hughes at the Community Church, Saturday p. m in For- moso. Interment was in the Balch Cemetery north of For- moso. After the funeral, the Warrens visited at the Chas. Doxon home, then drove to Mankato to visit a cousin, Mrs. Myrtle Simmons, who has just recently returned to her home, ~after several weeks of illness in the Belleville hospital and eon- tlescence at ;he home of her sister in Belleville.
