Day - A beautiful sunny orm, but
the air is chilly. Temperatures in
Kansas last night were 5 to 10
and held there til around nine
a. m. Radio morning news
brought word of the death of
Charles Isaacson of Courtland, a
former resident of Lovewell for
years, where he ran a very suc-
cessful garage and filling station
business. He was an industrious
and quiet man, who was very
conscientious in his dealings
with everyone and had the res-
pect and friendship of everyone,
both here and at Courtland. He
has been ill for the past several
years and knew what suffering
was, and bore it all with quiet
patience. The funeral is to be
held this Tuesday p. m. at the
Methodist Church at two
o'clock, in Courtland.
Mrs. Delia Heldt was a
Sunday afternoon visitor of Mrs.
Alta Lovewell.
Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Warren at-
tended the funeral of Mr. Ed
Hughes at the Community
Church, Saturday p. m in For-
moso. Interment was in the
Balch Cemetery north of For-
moso. After the funeral, the
Warrens visited at the Chas.
Doxon home, then drove to
Mankato to visit a cousin, Mrs.
Myrtle Simmons, who has just
recently returned to her home,
~after several weeks of illness in
the Belleville hospital and eon-
tlescence at ;he home of her
sister in Belleville. Later they
