The Red Stocking Campaign is an opportunity for Kananns to help meet the needs of vulnerable children and families, said Bertha Mflbank, presi- dent of the League. "Children in crisis have manywishes during the Holiday season." Mflbank sald. "The Red Stocking Campaign helps children who wish that Mcmand Dad would stop fighting all the tlme...children in foster care who want to return home to thelr own famflies...chfldren who Just want their families to be whole." People help make these wishes pos- sible when they volunteer or become a supporting member of the League, Milbank sald. The League serves more than 10,000 self-esteem. Kansas Children's Service League is a statewlde, private ch/kiren's serv/ce agency. The League is a member of more than 30 Way agencies. Record Classifieds Bring Fast Resultsl ADULT WELDING CLASS White Rock High School will be offering Adult Welding Classes this winter. There will be both beginning and advanced classes being offered. The beginning class will include basic instruction in arc welding, oxy-acetylene welding and cutting, brazing, and hardsnrfacing. The ad- vanced class will include instruction on advanced arc weld- ing techniques, out of position are welding, and MIG welding procedures. Persons interested in these classes should pre-enroll by contacting White Rock High School by November 30 at 647-6361. The classes will meet one evening each week either on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evening starting at 6:30 p.m. The class meeting day will depend on enrollment and class sizes are limited. The first class will start on Monday, De- cember 3. The class will meet in the Vo-Ag shop building. Each class will meet approximately 3V2 hours each week, The class will last approximately 16 weeks and the class fee will be $75.00. The school will provide all welding equipment.
