Meier ruas with thePik= Valley Panthers during the rg~ season as part of a cooperative program between the two schools. Meier opened the season at the Tesco~ meet. The course was flooded in some areas and runners were rerouted. Despite the obstacles, Meier se~,d the fourth place medal with her Kme of 21:24.8. She held the eight place medal the fol- lowing week under threaten- hag weather conditions, at the Wamego meet, with her time of 21:13.9. She was out of action for a week and returned, Sept. 29, to take the third place medal at the Republic County meet, run at flag B cUeville Golf course with the time of 21:58.52. M ier set several records at the Lake Centralia meet, Oct. 6. Her time of 19:41 was good for first place, a new personal best mark, a Rock Hills High School record time and she now holds the meet record for the fastest time navigaling the TATE course. Meier took home the thkd place medal at Sabetha, Oct. 13, withher time of 20:59. She competed at the Lake- side Invitational at Downs, Thursday. The meet was also the Northern Plains league meet. Meier took the fourth overall spot and came in second in the league meet. She was honored with a place on the 2016 All-League cross ,otmtry tealn. Meier competed for the Rock Hills Grizzlies at the Regional 1A cross emtatry meet, Satur- day. The five kilometer race was run over the Leonardville Golf Course. Meier finished in second place with her time of 21:10.51. She seeu~d a berth at the state championship meet being run over the Wamego Country Club Course.
