At- tending from the Baptist church were Opal Taylor and Bob and Maxine Switzer. Guests attending were Fern Pair, Doris Kitts, Gwen West and Bob and Ada Grimm. Children from the Lt/theran Chm'ch Sunday School brought their pets to visit. Those bringing pets were Pastor Steve Little and Mimi, the poodle; Diane and Breanna Webb and their dog, Tank; Alex and Shelby Smith and their cat, Precious, and gerbils, Sami and Zela, and Janelle, Cheisey and Corbin Greene and their cats, Amber, Skunk, Mississippi, Sparky and John Wayne. Bible Study was held on Monday morning. An "old toys" program was held on the patio. A Kewpie doll, gyroscope, tinker toys and a top were a few of the toys shown. Residents wrote letters to their pen pals at the Smith County Long Term Care in Smith Center. The letters will be written, as a group, once a month. The Smith Center LTC residents will write to Jewell County LTC as a group. Exercise and devotions were held. Leonard and Doris Worm presented the Tuesday Happenings program. They sang many old songs. Guests attending were Doffs Kitts and Nancy McCorkle. Thadd Hinkle and Rosalie Menhusen led music and communion was served. Ice cream was sewed after afternoon activities. Ann and handmassues were given with discuss;0n on t~e memories evoked by the different smells of the lotions used. Linda Crangle, Jeanie Blair and Veda Houser assisted with games. Guests attending were Wilbur Becket, Eldine Neill, Doris Kitts, Eva Sanders and Dorothy Leonard.
