ite Rock Homecoming
The White Rock High School football homecoming is Friday
night at Burr Oak.
Homecoming candidates are Justin Hajny, son of Brad Hajny,
Esbon, and Pam Hajny, Esbon; Josh Bird, son of John and Terri
Bird, Smith Center; Josh Hancock, son of Doug and Karen
Hancock, Esbon; Melanie Kriley, daughter of Lee Kriley, Esbon,
and Jo Kriley, Esbon; Meggie Michels, daughter of Kathy
Schiermeyer, Guide Rock, and Leon Michels, Guide Rock; and
Lauren Jeffery, daughter of Brad and Colleen Jeffery, Burr Oak.
All candidates are seniors at White Rock High School.
Crown and flower bearers are kindergartners, Spencer
Calloway, Lexi Jeffery and Emily Cox.
Student Council is in charge of the homecoming ceremony
which will be at 6:15 p.m. at the football field at Burr Oak. These
ceremonies will precede the Jewell-White Rock vs. Kensington
football game.
The homecoming theme is "So Far Away" and the homecom-
ing colors are teal and silver.
The senior class will host a hamburger supper starting at 5:30
p.m. before the game.
There will be a pep rally Thursday night at the Burr Oak
football field at 7 p.m. and the public is invited. There will also
be a weiner roast.
This Week has been spirit week at WRHS. The homecoming
dance will be after the football game Friday. Jay Diamond is the
DJ.

The Jewell-White Rock Predators
defeated Lakeside 62-36 at Glen Elder
Friday night and in so doing, extended
the Predator record to 4-0.
The Jewell-White Rock Predators
scored 8 touchdowns.
Jeweil-White Rock' s Caleb Ram sey
was good for 4 touchdowns. Ramsey
scored on runs of 10, 4, 19 and 48
yards.

and picked up another 75 yards pass-
ing.
Ramsey carried the ball 21 times
for 214 yards. Shamburg rushed 17
times for 69 yards. Bird had 4 carries
for 56 yards and Ord had 8 carries for
46 yards.
Ord went 4 for 9 passing for 75
yards. Mizner was Ord's only receiver
as he hauled in all 4 passes for 75 yards
43-yard run.
