Curtis Watson presided at the meeting at the Senior Center. Amanda Studer led the flag salute and 4-H pledge. Roll call was a foreign country fact. Fifteen members and I I parents, leaders and guests attended. Officer and leader reports were given. Our state fair activities and results were announced. The 1992-1993 officers were elected. The new officers are Travls Watson, president; Darla Stmad, vice presi- dent; Cecelia Bouray, secretary; Chris- tel'Higbee, treasurer; Amanda Studer, reporter; Nanette Dunstan, parliamen- tarian; Javenia Peters, Kristina Jensen and Matt Howell, historians; Charlie Nlckloy. Bouray, September 23, 1992 Willing Workers at State Fair Eleven-members of the Formoso Willing Workers 4-H Club took part in several events at the ~as State Fair. Exhibiting were Chrlstel Higbee, cro- chet, two geology exhibits, lapidary, three flowers and a photo; Curtis Watson, geology and a photo; Krlstin" Ruthstrom, geology;, Javenia Peters, a photo; Cecelia Bouray, home environ- ment poster, a photo, woodworking and onions; and Cheryl Bouray, cro- chet, electricity and woodworking. Curtis and I~tin Judged livestock on Septembfr 12. Also on September 12 Christel, Cecelia, Nanette Dunstan, Cheryl and Hllary Watson Judged hor- ticulture, and Christel, Cecella, Cheryl and Hilary Judged photography. Ch- eryl took part in the consumer judging contest on September 19 and Curt~!s., the home ec quiz bowl on Septel;nber 20. ~-- Jc~y',~n-ense n p~,rtlclpated'in the Photo Fun Day on September 12. Christel, Travls Watson and Krlstina Jensen performed on the 4-H Showcase also .The Jeweil County Po~t. 13 White Rock Volleyball splits evening games White Rock Journeyed to Guide Rock to encounter their team and also Ken- sington on Sept. 15. The Eagles de- feated Guide Rock in two,games, 15-0; 15-7, but lost to Kensington 12-15; 15- 8; 0-15. Coach Packard said "We really did a good Job in all phases of the game for most of the night. The exception was our serve/recelve that could have been better in the 3rd game against Kensing- ton We continued to get good setting from Lisa Dethloff. Jodl Johanek had a good night hitting as did Barbara Deth- loft. Ronda Broeckleman was playing her best volleyball of the year when she was injured. Alan and Matt demonstrated how to make homemade picture frames. Cecelia gave a club project talk about the Italian people. Our recreation was a Fun Run before the meeting.
