Hawkins of near Marshalltown, la.; Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Glover and fam- ily of Americus, Kans.; Di- nw,Peters of Goodland and Jame McDonnell; Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Pugh, son and daughter of Belleville; and Mr. and Mrs. Terrill Lacleff and son of Clyde, Karts. The Kendalls visited their d~.ughter and Don's sister. Donita, and Wendell Barnett. 'The Hawkins visited her sister, Dorothy, and Reeve Hawkins. Mrs. Hawkins was Estel Foster before she was married. The Glovers visited his brother, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Glover, and others. Diana Peters and James McDonnell visited his par- ents, Mr.and Mrs. Jake Mc- Donnell. James is teaching music at Hoxie, Kans. this year. Mr. and Mrs. LaVae G!ov- er and family ente~t~:ine, the Glover relatives at Sun- day dinner. Also, Edgar's sister, Genevieve. and Merl Kimbrough of Americus and uncle, Andrew King, of Burr Oak. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brown visited their daughter, Betty Heitman, and family of Nor- ton over the weekend. The Pughs and their daughter, the Lacleffs, visit- ed Eldon's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Pugh. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Ostrom and son of Salina also visited her grandparents, the Har- old Pughs. Weldon Hyde of Albu- querque, N. Mex. and Jim Getter of Wichita visited their college schoolmate, Ron Dillon, over the week- end. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil War- ner v.isited their son, key. Leslie Warner, and family at Grinnell, Ia. over the week- end. Mr. and Mrs. Don Diehl took their daughter, Regi, back to Wichita Sunday as she attends Friends Univer- sity this year. Beverly Jeffery, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Jerrery, plans to go to Hays, Kans. Thursday where she will at- tend college this year. The Women's Missicmary Society plan to meet Thurs- day, Sept. 8 with Mrs. Nor- man Smuck at 2:00 p. m. Quite a number attend- ed the annual Sunday School Superior Monday, Ehty.
