A special family friend, Tom Lore from School Administration in 1987 from Cof- MarJorie retired from Coffeyville Family receptionist. Jerry spent 41years in Public Educa- with students and teachers in eleven different in Kansas, where they made many friends and recalled in their retirement. & MarJorie are active in the volunteer program, church Club. LEON RIOHTMEIER Rightmeiers to celebrate 50th Leon & Bonnie Rightmeler, Concordla, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2-4 p.m,, Sunday, May 26, at the First Baptist Church, Concordia. Hosts will be their children. Jeanie Hysom, EILsworth, a'nd Eldon Rightmeier and his wife. Lama. Marden. Leon Rlghtmeler and Bonnie Kadavy were married May '26, 1946 in Munden. They have lived in the Montroae, Bllevflle and Concordia communities all their married lives. Leon farmed for 13 years, worked at Tibbetts Broth:rs Furniture Store, Belleville, for seven years and at the Concur dis office of the Production Credit Association for 17 years. In,on retired in 1983. Bonnie was a career teacher. She taught 34 years l'n the Arkansas City, Montrose and Belleville public school systems before retiring in 1981. The couple have two children, five grandchildren v,nd two great grandchildren. The couple request no gifts Happy Tuesday Club meets Happy Tuesday Club met May 14 with 15 members and fo i'r guests. Grants are now available from Farmers Home Administration Housinr' Rehabilitation. Next council meeting will be May 23 at Formosa. Carrie Frye reported on the selection for King & Queen. A vote by ballot was taken with the following results: King- 1st, Delbert Underwood, 2nd, Ercll Craven, and 3rd, Clayton Walker; Queen- Ist, Lucflle Platt. 2nd. Geneva Garman. and 3rd, Lorene Craven.
